I enjoy feeling myself part of the thousands of years old practice of making objects from clay and depicting the body, or body parts in 3 dimensions. This continuum seems to fulfil a partly psychological need to create objects of beauty that reflect the endless grace and life force of the human form.

Exploring abstraction and more contemporary forms has become a parallel obsession, which gave rise to the `Hand Out `series in porcelain, the sharp lines of `Pivotal` and the infinity of `Mobius Curve` which I hope to investigate using 3 D printing and metal. The challenge is to keep pushing oneself forward to try different mediums, styles and technology.
