"Mobius Curve' by Susie Ashkenazi at Toorak Sculpture Exhibition

Until 10 June 2018, you can see nearly 100 sculptures in this annual show that places the art works in shop windows and big pieces on the footpath.

My favourite is "Nude Ned" by Nicole Newman. Its a life size Ned Kelly in core-ten steel with the usual letter box head mask but not much else! A great way to keep the Ned Kelly story alive. But lucky me.

My sculpture `Mobius Curve` started off on the counter of cake shop and according to their wonderful manager Leanne, it got loads of positive feedback, but alas Egon's closed up on Friday! So my abstract has a new home in the very elegant dress shop `Villique`, which already has `Float` , a sublimely beautiful abstract piece by Jennifer Conroy Smith. This is my next favourite piece in the entire exhibition!! . `Float` is a veritable waterfall of small porcelain shapes suspended on invisible fishing line. It is beautiful. So thank you Villique owners and managers for being art lovers and great people. There are so many stunning sculptures in this exhibition which aims to tempt people to Toorak Village by seeing magnificent original works. There should be more of this!!
